About Shijie Soymilk King

Let me introduce you to Shijie Soymilk King, a well-loved brunch spot in Yonghe that locals casually recommend when you ask where to eat like a regular. Sitting at No. 284號, Section 2, Yonghe Rd, in Yonghe District, New Taipei City, this place feels like the kind of neighborhood restaurant you wander into once and then remember forever. The vibe is relaxed and practical, with that familiar morning energy that makes you want to slow down, order a few plates, and ease into the day. Shijie Soymilk King is best known for its classic soy milk-based offerings, yet the menu goes beyond expectations, mixing quick bites with small plates that work just as well for solo breakfasts as for sharing. Because the focus is on simple flavors done right, vegetarian and vegan diners usually find plenty of comfortable choices without having to overthink the menu. I like how the food arrives fast but never rushed, which makes it ideal for busy mornings when time matters but quality still counts. Service options are flexible too, so whether you prefer to dine in, grab takeaway, or use delivery on a slower morning, it fits easily into different routines. What really stands out is how the restaurant blends efficiency with warmth; staff move quickly, yet the atmosphere stays friendly and unpretentious. As a brunch restaurant, it attracts early risers, night owls finishing late shifts, and anyone in between, creating a steady flow that feels lively without being overwhelming. If you enjoy casual Taiwanese breakfast culture, this spot captures it in a way that feels genuine, everyday, and approachable, making Shijie Soymilk King a natural go-to for mornings that deserve something satisfying without any fuss. From the steady clatter of dishes to the smell of warm soy milk, the experience feels rooted in daily life, and the straightforward setup keeps attention on the food rather than distractions, which is exactly what many people appreciate during a laid-back brunch stop.

Shijie Soymilk King (世界豆漿大王) is a classic, 24-hour traditional Taiwanese breakfast and brunch eatery located in New Taipei City. What it Serves: It specializes in traditional Taiwanese breakfast items, including freshly made soy milk, fried dough sticks (youtiao), steamed buns, and various soups. Price Level: The restaurant is very inexpensive, with a typical price range of NT$1–200. Vibe: It is described as a traditional eatery in a relaxed environment. They are near the yellow MRT subway line in New Taipei, open 24 hours, so you can eat anytime. They have one of my favorites, salty soy bean milk, with sour cabbage and you can add a poached egg.

Overall, I had a good experience here. They serve tasty Xiaolong Bao, soy milk, and other traditional Taiwanese breakfast dishes. The prices are quite reasonable — around $120 per person, which is pretty standard. The flavors were decent, and I’d definitely recommend this place to friends visiting Taipei.

It's a convenient spot. The food and drinks are tasty. There's no table service. The restroom is small but clean. The people who worked there were friendly and helpful.

Good taste: especially salty soy milk. Open 24 hours are also available. The restaurant is clean and neatly decorated. Xiao long bao is steamed or fried. Staffs are very friendly and helpful with English speaking. Not very long queue.

It’s very delicious! But, be prepared to hv a quite long queue when you come at late night. If you don’t want to have a hassle over the queue, you can come and enjoy this Taiwanese local signature soy milk with sides in the afternoon or evening instead.
